A few weeks ago I was made aware of a wine project that immediately fascinated me. We know the ancient Romans from school history, from stories and legends about Cesars and other personalities, from the Bible and perhaps from museums. But what was normal life like in ancient Rome? Was it really the way the big movies and famous Gaul comics portrayed it?
