The name of our white wine made from Montonico grapes is a tribute to the area of Bisenti, the home of this grape variety: in fact, its ancient name was Berethra, from the Greek Barathon, "narrow and deep valley".
Tasting notes: Berethra is a straw yellow wine with a delicate bouquet of lemon and herbs on the nose. This wine is characterized by floral notes of hawthorn and citrus fruits orange peel, cedar, honey and fresh grass. The palate is dry, refreshing, savory with mineral notes. Finish of medium persistence, but very pleasant.
Food Pairings: With its freshness and structure, it goes well with a wide variety of dishes. Ideal with raw or marinated fish hors d'oeuvres, fried food, it also enhances fish or vegetable first courses. Its minerality balances perfectly with roasted or grilled fish in all its variations, as well as white meat of all kinds, from chicken and turkey to rabbit and duck. It also accompanies fresh cheeses and grilled vegetables, creating a harmonious pairing of savoriness and finesse.
